Getting paid by Forward Planning Plus

Email a valid invoice to join@forwardplanningplus.com.au. Valid, correctly submitted invoices are processed within 1–2 business days. Processing is the step we control. Final payment timing can also depend on NDIA processing and whether we need to clarify details with a provider.

Forward Planning Plus is a Queensland-based NDIS plan management team. We work by phone and email. This page is for providers who invoice those participants.

What a valid NDIS invoice needs

    • Participant name
    • NDIS number
    • Provider ABN
    • Invoice date and invoice number
    • Support item numbers
    • Dates of service
    • Units and the price, within the NDIS price limit for that support
    • GST status

Why each field matters, and a copy-ready checklist, is on the NDIS invoice requirements page. Use that guide rather than a second list of rules.

How to send invoices to Forward Planning Plus

Email the invoice to join@forwardplanningplus.com.au. Include the participant's name and NDIS number in the invoice itself, not only in the email.

The 90-day claiming rule from 1 December 2026

From 1 December 2026, the time to make an NDIS claim is reduced from 2 years to 90 days after the support is delivered. The clock starts on the day of the support, not the day the invoice is written. For plan-managed participants, the plan manager makes the claim after your invoice arrives, so a late invoice uses up that time.

    Common reasons invoices are delayed

    • A required field is missing or does not match the participant's plan: name, NDIS number, provider ABN, invoice date or number, support item number, or dates of service.
    • The units or price are above the NDIS price limit for that support.
    • GST has been added to a support that is GST-free, or the GST status is not shown.
    • The dates of service fall outside the participant's current plan dates.
    • The invoice arrives so late that the claim is outside the claiming time. From 15 October 2026, claims lodged more than 90 days after the support may be held for extra checks. From 1 December 2026, the claim must be made within 90 days.

If something on the invoice needs correcting, we ask you for a corrected invoice before the claim is made. The field-by-field checklist is on the NDIS invoice requirements page.
