How Much Does NDIS Plan Management Cost?
Plan management is funded by the NDIA in your plan — it does not come out of your support budgets and there is no cost to you. The fee is a separate NDIA-funded line item, capped by the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and you pay nothing out of pocket. No cost to you — here's why.
Does plan management cost me anything?
No. Plan management is funded by the NDIA in your plan — it does not come out of your support budgets and there is no cost to you. You do not pay a plan manager directly. Where plan management is included, the NDIA allocates funding specifically for the plan-management service under the Improved Life Choices support category within Capacity Building.
That allocation is separate from the funding allocated for your other disability supports, so choosing plan management does not mean using your support funding to pay a plan manager.
The only exception is if plan management funding was never added to your plan in the first place — see below for what to do if that's the case.

What are the NDIS plan management fee price limits?
The NDIA sets a maximum monthly plan management fee and a maximum one-off establishment fee under the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Any registered plan management provider, including us, must charge at or below these caps.
These price limits are reviewed and updated by the NDIA periodically, so the exact dollar figures can change during a financial year or between plan periods. Rather than quoting a figure that may be out of date, we point you to the NDIA's own pricing page for the current caps.
Some remote and very remote loadings can also apply under the same pricing arrangements, which is why fees can differ slightly depending on where you live.

What happens if I don't have plan management funding in my plan?
If plan management isn't currently funded in your plan, you can ask the NDIA to add it at your next plan reassessment, or in some circumstances through a plan variation. Without this funding, that part of your plan defaults to self-management or NDIA management instead.
Requesting plan management funding doesn't reduce funding available for your other supports — it's requested as its own budget item.
Timing depends on when your plan is next reviewed, so it's worth raising it with the NDIA as early as possible if you'd prefer plan management over self-managing or NDIA-managing your funding.

- Setup fee: $0 to you. Any establishment fee is capped by the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and paid from your plan management funding, not your pocket.
- Monthly plan management fee: Capped by the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and paid from your dedicated plan management budget — $0 out of pocket.
- Anything else: No hidden charges. If it isn't listed as a plan management line item under the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, we don't charge it.
For exact current dollar figures, see the official NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits page.
